    GRV’s Set yesterday at Body Rock

    Their set was a dedication to a former member of theirs that unfortunately passed away.

    I watched this set at tech and at the actual show, and I cried both times.

    I think they might have got deducted for going over 5 minutes because of the video montage and the set, but it just shows that they don’t want the trophy, all they want to do is express and dedicate this to Sharon.

    They danced with so much passion on stage, and then as I watched them after that final 8 count, everyone on stage was in tears.

    Something magical happened on that stage. And the fact that the Body Rock was at the church… idk, something felt right.

    But yeah, I’m now a big fan of GRV now because I was so used to them doing hard core pieces, but they proved that they’re much more than that

    My heart goes out to you guys.

    I really hope to see everyone come out for this event!
    I worked really hard to put this together, and this is my first event with Consensus Entertainment since they hired me. Body Rock was amazing yesterday, and as we all know, the junior dance community works just as hard. Come through for a night of dope talent and inspiration. See what inspires us to do what we do. 

    I will be releasing the trailer soon.

    There will be workshops on June 8, 15, and 22.
    They will be Studio FX, PASACAT Dance Studio, and Studio 429.
    The teachers will consist of dancers on junior dance crews, and they’re all collaborative. (i.e. iDK x 429, NvS x FX)
    Stay tuned for the flyer for that too!
